The Paradox Of Suffering.....
Most of us, whether we acknowledge it or not, come from a place of privilege.
Don’t you agree?
Well, if you’re reading this, it’s more than likely that you have eyes that can see and hands that can work. You are literate with a smartphone and an internet connection.
Congratulations and Welcome to the privileged club, where all of us are living someone else’s dream!
Anyway...
In spite of having access to so many luxuries in life, our minds have a tendency to concentrate more on things that cause us discomfort and less on things that bring us joy.
Instead of being grateful for a wonderful family, a steady job, and access to a healthy lifestyle, we constantly seem to focus on that one relationship that didn’t work, that one promotion we didn’t get, and those few kilos that refuse to shed.

Ever wondered why?
Why do we pay so much attention to things that hurt us? In spite of having thousands of things to be grateful for, why does our mind constantly go back to that one thing that’s out of balance?
Maybe because that’s the part of our life that really needs our attention.
Think about it...
When we get physically injured, our mind constantly reminds us of its discomfort, doesn’t it?
What if our mind reacts to mental discomforts just the way it reacts to physical discomforts? What if our mind takes us back to those incidents that hurt us because it wants us to heal?
What if, against all odds, our mind is not our
Enemy, but a friend in disguise?
''If something is hurting you right now, be it emotionally or mentally, try treating it like a physical injury. Pay attention to it. Tend to it with utmost care. Shield it from the opinions of the outside world. Nourish yourself daily with quality affirmations.''
And most importantly, try to understand what is this phase of suffering trying to teach you. If you ended up in this situation because of an innocent mistake of yours, learn from it and try not to repeat it again in the future.
Don’t ignore suffering under the guise of avoiding a negative experience. Suffering by itself is neither negative nor positive. It’s your approach to suffering that can either hold you back or help you grow.
And whenever given a choice, always pick growth. For one, if you were to face a similar situation next time, you’ll be better prepared for it. And sure, it may still cause you the same level of pain, but your level of suffering will be drastically minimized.
Remember,
The more you suffer, the more you grow. The more you grow, the less you suffer.
So technically,
The more you suffer, the less you suffer.
Cheers.
Thank you for spending your precious time here.....
